29 on the 29th!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Shane turned 29 on January 29th! Unfortunately for him it was pretty uneventful most of the day, what with him having to take a huge test and all. However we celebrated up at the Pack's house with some yummy food later in the evening so that was a nice way to end his GOLDEN BIRTHDAY.

For the almost 8 years I've known Shane his Texas sass, know it all, sarcastic, fun loving personality has made life so much better! Shane is a great dad, a wonderful husband and a one-of-a-kind guy. Love you lots Shane Pack! Hope you had a good birthday!

Whoopsie

So I locked my keys in the car yesterday while out shopping. I freaked out obviously and after Shane convinced me over text had to call a cop to come help me. The Problem was when I told the girls a policeman was going to come help mama get in the car Kay screamed, "NO! Policemen are mean. They take kids away when they are being bad in the car!" haha oops. I then had to convince her the policeman was not going to take me away, that he was going to help me and that he was nice :) Kay is so cute.
Thankfully my sister was there to help me watch the girls while I waited, but I came back to even Kennady saying the policeman was mean. Guess Shane and I better watch what we say!

Happy Birthday Kennady

Our little Kennie Lynn is now 2! The time has flown. It really does feel like yesterday that I had my appointment at 37 weeks and was in denial on how I was already dilating and that the baby would come soon so Shane told my mom to come if I were you :) She did come and after a few days of being here we went to see a midnight showing of Twilight with Stina, came home, got sick, went to bed and then my water broke. Kennady arrived after only a short 3 1/2 hours and now here we are 2 years later!

We love our little Kennady so much and can't imagine life without her. She has sass and personality, but she is also kind and gentle when she wants to be. She now says EVERYTHING, sleeps in a big girl bed, has NO interest in the potty, loves princesses and chapstick, likes to take off her clothes ALWAYS, can take on In-N-Out hamburgers and adores her big sister Kaylee very much. She is awesome!I love having my two little girls! We love you Kennady! Happy Birthday!

Merry Christmas

We had a fabulous Christmas this year. We were able to spend time with both families, meet up with Santa, go to Temple Square and see the lights, eat way too much amazing food, play in the snow, spend time with Shane and so much more! It was wonderful!

We were lucky enough to stay up in Alpine with the Pack family for a week. The girls loved being with Kylie and Dan and Halie and Ryan....well honestly they really loved Dan and Ryan the most because they chased them around all week. Sorry Aunties, they love you too :) We had a great time on Christmas Eve wearing our matching Jammies and reading the Christmas Story. There is nothing like reminding ourselves the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas morning we started in on the presents and had a great time being all together as an entire Pack family. We then headed to my parents house for more presents and then to dinner with my Shepherd family. It was such a nice Christmas Day! We were SO happy to have Johnny here with us for Christmas. It was really neat to be with both full families for Christmas, a true gift! The girls made out great this year and it was so fun to see their pure excitement in what they got and gratitude towards those who gave it to them! It was great. Lynn and Janice gave Shane the most amazing present. A trip to Houston. He can tell you more about that!

We then got to spend time with my family and brother. It was a lot of fun. A lot of card games, treats and family videos! Sadly I have none from spending time with my fam....hopefully someone took some :)

All in all we felt truly blessed this year. We have beautiful babies, great families and health. When it comes to the essentials in life there's really not too much to complain about. We hope you all had a wonderful Holiday season. I have too many pictures and I am sorry if I have posted too many :)
